Looking for a goog external monitor for a 15" macbook pro ? Any suggestions? Other then the thunderbolt display.

I've got the Thunderbolt Display but perhaps you could get a Dell 27"? The extra real estate is massive.

NEC CCFL backlit displays; I don't care for LED. NEC has 30 CCFL displays starting at $300. They are built like tanks, have an excellent rep for quality (unlike Dell) and they have four year warranties. I couldn't be happier with my 24" NEC.
