This is probably way over kill, but I would put my mind at rest while transporting my laptop to and from school.

I move my laptop around in a backpack with a dedicated laptop compartment (backpack link here) along with my school books. Since the height of my school books is shorter than the height of my laptop, I am worried about the possibility of the laptop bending about the point of the top of my school books.

I know the Macbook's chassis is made entirely of aluminum and should be pretty strong, I just really do not want to risk bending the chassis and/or damaging the screen.

What I am looking for is a sleeve which would 'live' in the backpacks laptop compartment and would add structural rigidity for the Macbook . When I want to use my Macbook, I would easily remove it from the hard sleeve without the hard sleeve leaving my backpack. Similarly, when I am done using my Macbook, I would easily slide it back in the hard sleeve.

Does anything like this exist?
