So unfortunately the internal SuperDrive in my girlfriend's mid-2007 Mac Mini is dead. It's cheaper to just grab an external drive than to get the internal drive fixed, so I'm looking for a recommendation of what works and what is good.

Doubt it'll work with a 2007 Mac Mini. Doesn't it require a high-power USB port?

HERE is an Amazon-branded one. Doesn't fit the Apple look well, but it functions great and is very reasonably priced.
