Hey,

Im looking on ebay at a macbook pro, it has a 1.83Ghz Processor, 2Gb Ram and 80Gb HDD. Can anyone advise if this is a good Macbook to go for, considering all i do is word processing, watching movies, and the occasional play on Photoshop.

My main concern is the size of the HDD, can someone advise on how upgradeable they are?! Is it easy to do myself? How much would i pay for a decent HDD?!

Your Prompt Response would be appreciated!

On the old machines, no it is NOT easy to yourself. You have to take out a whole bunch of tiny screws (27, IIRC), lift off the top case, and disconnect the keyboard.

It's not that hard if you take your time. Here is a manual that walks you through the process. And I have seen 500 gb Samsung HD's for $130.00. Look at the manual get the right tools and TAKE YOUR TIME. :)
