Looking for a MathType sortof application for Pages (iWork '08)

Hi everyone,

I'm currently looking for a MathType sortof application that will work flawlessly with Pages'08. I can use mathtype but there is a weird "clipping?" bug that will paste my equation one line higher than it should be and I cannot modify lower it manually. Is there any other application I can use :)?
