Right now I'm running a 2014 iMac with an ancient (18-19 years old) Cinema Display as a second monitor.
I decided it's finally time to upgrade my desktop. Though I'm not 100% committed yet I think I'm going to go with an M2 Pro Mac mini--aside from occasional video re-encoding I just don't think I need the horsepower of the Mac Studio (though the additional ports are tempting, since I have a lot of peripherals).
For a display, readability is a top priority. I'm not a gamer, don't do much video work, and my DTP days are over.
I was thinking getting two Dell U2723QE displays, then more recently thought maybe an Asus PA348CGV widescreen as the main monitor with the Dell as a secondary.
Would I hit any issues with these and the Mini? From what I've read, there are refresh rate and other issues with HDMI, which would then cut down my connection options further if I avoid using it.
