Hey all,

I've been wanting to upgrade my hard drive for a little while, and now i have no choice,.. it's full!

I was wondering if any of you have upgraded the existing, what brand/model did you get, and are you satisfied with it? I don't mind spending a little extra to get a a quality product.. looking to get somewhere around 300 gb or higher if possible and.. thanks!

Why not get an external drive, be it 2.5" (portable) or 3.5" (for the desktop)?

Currently you can have several 297GB (marketed as 320GB) drives from Seagate and Western Digital with either 5400RPM or 7200RPM (theoratically faster than 5400).
Also there are lots of 465GB (marketed as 500GB) drives with 5400RPM and one with 7200RPM (Seagate Momentus).

Also MRoogle for looking for lots of similar threads.
