Resolved Looking for a new HP printer.

My current HP Photosmart is 4 years old and has started having intermittent issues with jamming. I'm a college student, and having a reliable printer is a must. Basically I'm looking for an all-in-one that is fairly economic on ink. I've looked at both the Photosmarts and the Office Jets, and I kind if prefer the Photosmarts. It's been a long time since I've had an Office Jet, and I don't need the fax feature or the document feeder.

All I need is an all-in-one printer to connect to my MBP so I can print the occasional essay. I don't print a ton since a lot of assignments are submitted online.

Unless you need the scanner and/or color, my preference has always been for lasers. We tend to print in spurts - a lot at once then not for awhile. I always had a problem with ink jets drying out. I'm currently using a HP 1102W for basic printing needs.
