Looking for a nice, smaller in size, picture scanner

Basically I'm looking for a scanner that will produce good results for scanning pictures. I'm thinking about getting the Fujitsu ScanSnap for documents and I just need something for the occasional picture.

Any suggestions?

Easy to use would be great as well...

Personally, I like the Canon LiDE series. Small, lightweight, makes nice picture scans.

But there is a slight Intel Mac problem, right? I've looked the CanoScan LiDE scanners up on Google and it seems that people have some problems with them on Mac's running Intel processors.

Can anyone enlighten me/us regarding this issue?

My machine is intel -- MacBook. Runs fine. Sometimes I have minor problems with "multi-scan" but I think that is pilot error!
