Here is my Late 2011 MacBook Pro 17”. It’s the last generation of 17-inch laptops Apple made before discontinuing the A1297 model. I installed an SSD with OpenCore macOS Catalina and it works fine with most apps (except I can’t use FCPX on it because I had to disable the discreet Nvidia GPU)
