Hey all,

I'm in need of a new wristwatch. I'm looking towards the simple modern minimalistic ones. Which is decently priced. Does anyone have some brands they can suggest, or where they find watches?

Thanks for any help!

Check out Tissot. I continue to get compliments on my PRC-200. Decently priced, but look much more expensive.

A simple modern watch that looks great, this is your choice!

I've had mine for more than a year and it's been great. It's simple and modern, but very elegant and certainly gets compliments. I only paid $50 for it too, which was a great deal!

EDIT - This is the watch I currently wear daily -

One of the ones below is what I'm currently trying to figure out what I want to get for the summer;

Two days ago, I added one of each model to my wishlist...in hopes of owning at least one of them soonish. So cool looking. Do you own one?

I actually do not own one. I personally wear a Nixon watch (similar to this)

and I love it. I am extremely picky about certain things and I cannot stand watches with numbers or clutter on them.

This is the watch I have been wearing as my every day watch for the past 5 years. Still looks great minus a small crack in my crystal that I put in last year and still works great.
It is made out of Titanium so it is really very light.
Weight wise I say it is about the same weight on my wrist as a G-Shock watch.

Also you need to define what is desently priced. I am a big fan of citizen watches. Watch I wear I think my mom paid $150 for it. It was a gift and like I said I have been wearing it for 5.5 years nearly every day. Since it is solar charged I have never replaced the battery in it.

Are watches going out of style? I don't see kids wearing them anymore.

define what you mean by kids.

HS yes. College age I see them more and more as things are less structured and you are forced to keep track of time. There is no bell to control your life.
Then again I have been wearing a watch in one form of the other for nearly 20 years now. Digital for the first 15 and Analog for the last 5.

At my highschool quite a lot of people (including myself) use watches :D
