Hey Everyone,

My macbook is on the way and I want to buy a sleeve. I really like the looks of the applesac, because it covers the whole computer, and has a velcro flap which i really like. The sumocase http://sumocases.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=53 also looks like what i'm looking for, but it's not made specifically for the new mac book so I think it may be too loose, and it's also not water resistant..

So does anyone know of any bags that are made for the New Macbook, cover the whole laptop, have a flap as a close, and are water resistant? or will I have to settle for the applesac or perhaps too loose sumo?

Also, I obviously am not looking for a water proof case, but I'd like a case that if it got a few drops of rain on case, would offer a bit more protection.

Thanks!!

Tom Bihn Brain cell case for the new macbook. These are awesome and offer true protection for your laptop.

The Applesac is just a piece of fabric. Held in a messenger bag or backpack, if you drop your bag or slip and fall on your bag the applesac won't do you too much good. Aluminum will bend and dent so these soft cases are just more for comestic protection against scratches - useless.

The Brain cell fetaures a hard plastic shell and the laptop is suspended inside in layers of foam. The closures are velcro.

They can be used as a stand alone bag or put inide your favourite backpack or messenger bag.

Perfect IMO.
