Looking for a theme for organizing animated GIFs

Hello all,
I'm trying to create a web site where I, and possibly others, can upload and sort GIFs. I've taken a look at the default wordpress theme and you can do it by uploading the images and creating a post for each image. The sorting comes with tags, but I didn't know if there were any tips or recommended themes, or even an alternative CMS for doing this?

Consider using NextGen gallery which is one of if not the best gallery plugin for Wordpress available, arguably: http://wordpress.org/plugins/nextgen-gallery/
