Looking for a third-party extension

Before Yosemite came out, I was a dedicated user of SnagIt but now with the built-in "Mark Up" extension, some of that functionality has been replaced but not all. For example, I discovered the basic function of cropping an image isn't part of mark up.

Does anyone know of a more robust third-party tool like mark up that can be used right in Mail? It would be great if SnagIt came out with one but I don't think they have.
