I see. Yeah I am not sure such a thing exists then.thanks for trying, but neither of those are what im looking for.
im wanting a enclosure like this but thunderbolt based rather than USB

if something exists.
it can be TB1-TB3 because apples adapter is bidirectional so im not worried about it.
the closest thing i can think of is get another eGPU enclosure but instead of a keeping a GPU in it have a PCIe to M.2 adapter, then M.2 to Apple 28pin ssd adapter, but thats a adapter on adapter not to mention i want something more portable than another eGPU box lol

OP --
I'd buy the OWC USB-c enclosure above, and forget about thunderbolt.
(not really much more to say about it...)
I think the problem is that you have a 2015 MBP and that might be a thunderbolt 2 problem. You might be able to get away with one of these:

Then, you are going to need some adapters, or a hub. Unfortunately no one really wanted to make Thunderbolt 1 or 2 devices because they had to pay royalties to Apple. Thunderbolt 3 was co-developed with intel, and is royalty free, so we see not only cheaper, but more devices with Thunderbolt 3 on the market.

Ah, found one. Just use this cable on the enclosure I linked and you should be good to go. Enjoy.
I stand corrected.Thunderbolt 1 and 2 also involved Intel not just Apple. It is based off of Intel Lightpeak but switched to copper from the original design of fiber optic
