looking for a time machine management app

does anyone know of a good app to manage time machine? specificly, how often it backs up?

System Preferences > Time Machine is not enough for you?

TM backs up every hour, unless you deactivate TM and use the Menu Bar icon for TM to manually start TM.

my sister in law has a program that allows for setting the regularity of the back up. i'd like it to be daily. i don't wanna go manual. and i'd rather not re-write the code if there's a little freeware app to do it. the sister in law is on her way back from out of the u.s. or i'd call her. i'll ask this weekend when she is back, to share the app
