I've always had enough ports having a tower, so hubs seem to be made by companies I've never heard of. That means I have no idea what their reputation is like. But now that I have a laptop that only has 2 ports, I'm going to have to look for a hub.
I'd like to have a minimum of 3 and powered, as it's coming with me. I don't know what else there is to a hub. I'll assume anything I'm recommended is as fast as usb3 can give me and will have a relatively small footprint.
