Hi there!

I'm looking for a Thunderbolt Dock capable of running two Dell U2913WM monitors (2560x1080) at the same time. It seems like I need to use Displayport (or Mini-DP to DP at least) to get one to function at that resolution.

Every dock I've seen is two TB with usually an HDMI port. It seems like the HDMI port is unable to support that resolution. If anyone has any experience with this, I'd love to hear it.

Any advice is appreciated! I can't seem to find the simple solution!

Not going to happen: each Thunderbolt peripheral (e.g. a Dock) can only support a single display. You can use the HDMI, or plug a MiniDisplayPort-to-whatever-adapter into the second Thunderbolt, but not both together.

Docks like the Caldigit one *can* support a HDMI display and a Thunderbolt display. Or you can use the HDMI, attach another TB peripheral with two TB ports, and chain a second non-TB display from that. These methods work because they throw a second TB peripheral into the mix.
