Looking for advice/suggestions for iMovie

Hello everyone,

I am new to this forum so I would first like to say, thank you for having me!
Okay, I am about to film a short film as an indirect advertisement for my new website, and I am looking for any suggestions in relation to iMovie and editing. We are going to film with two cameras (if that matters). I have messed around with the program a bit, but I don't really know what I'm doing.
If you can share anything with problems, features, etc. that you have from previous experience, I'm all ears.
Also, just thought of another question, how do i use slow motion in iMovie, i can't figure it out. thank you--

Ok well firstly which version of iMovie are you using?

If you're on iMovie 08 you are out of luck as it doesn't do slomo.

However in 09 it is one of the effects.

Depending on how seriously you are taking this you might want to invest in Final Cut Express as it is much easier to work with and create a project how you want.

Your question isn't really asking thing as well, you may benefit trying some things and then asking about the problems you encounter rather than just vaguely asking what to do...
