looking for an app that tints display red

its perfect for browsing at night etc. i know its out there.

i am leaving to sail in the pacific tomorrow and this is perfect for not killing my night vision. cannot think of the name at all, someone please help me out. thanks.

Why not just create a color profile that is tinted red. You could then easily switch between the standard color profile and the "red" profile.

not sure how to do that and there is an app that is made strictly for night viewing which is pretty simple. i met a guy who had it and turning it off and on was about as simple as doing the color invert shortcut that comes on macs.

System Preferences > Displays > Color > Calibrate

Then fiddle to your heart's content.

thanks. thats not the one my friend had though. i just remember it had a catchy name and it made it so that all text could be read when it was in the red mode. i dled that in case i cant find the other one though. thanks again.
