I am trying to Backup a folder that contains 26Gb of Zip files and I want to back them up onto DVDs.

Is there any easy way to take this folder and burn the files onto 4.7Gb DVD's, short of manually going in and copying 4.7Gb at a time into an Image file?

Please bear in mind that I am not too hot on Terminal (first Mac - I am good with MS-DOS though 😛) so if its done via Terminal, detailed instructions would be great!

Thanks

Stu

Also, while I am at it, rather than starting a new thread - I have a DVD which I would like to backup, however, it is quite scratched, is there anyway to make an image file from the disc while skipping any unreadable files / sectors?

Don't know of one, but my feeling is that by now you could have done it that way.

That happens to me all the time.

OK, so whats the best way to go about it, create an Image file with the required zips in Disk Utility and burn to disc, or is there a better way to do it?
