Hey,
I've been trying to figure out how i can get this effect via an iPhone app. It's looks like a very high quality black and white filter and it has very light white noise/ scratches. Of course this might not even be an iPhone picture. But in any case can anyone provide me with some insight on this?

Thanks!

Afterlight, they have some really good BW filters and you can add on all types of grain/dust and light leaks. Works great now with extentions as well, so you can edit it straight from the photo library. You can choose how heavy you want to go on the grain as well, plus all kinds of fine tuning when it comes to white fade and/or contrast. Just a great app to edit some photos quickly.

Did this in about 15 seconds just so you can see what kind of effect you can easily get. Not the best picture, but it's dark outside here in stockholm ;)

Edit:
Actually, looking at the grain/dusty pattern it seems the original picture has been edited with Afterlight as well.
