looking for an audio player that supports multiple entries in one ID3 tag

Hey guys,

I have a big music collection and want to sort it all by genres. I want to be able to classify an artist as Funk, Rock ---- And have it appear under the funk genre and the rock genre.

Neither itunes nor songbird supports this. I know XMBC does but im not a fan of that type of system.

Im wondering if there is a player out there that is mac compatible and supports multiple genre tags.

I know you can do this by using smart playlists but I would prefer actual tagging so I can use filters when browsing
