Hi, i'm looking for a few jailbroken applications...

1. have notifications on your status bar like, text, or facebook.. or voicemail
1.1 - change the signal icons to like the ones i see on the forum all the time... the dots?
2. see through status bar... both in lockscreen and homescreen
3. have your "slide to unlock" really small so i can see my background better

And best if they are free... thank you

Thanks in advance

On top of my head right now, i can tell you the answer for 2)
go cydia and search for transparent statusbar for iOS4

1) you can either use notifier+ or notified pro. Go look at the threads for the respective app to learn more about it. Both are nice. I use both, notifier+ for reminders, and notified pro for notifications on status bar.

1.1 and 3) i am not sure of apps that can do this, but manually through SSH you can, though i will let others chime in more details. i can't think of the folders that you must change at the moment.

1.1 and 3 are done through themes.

You can find lots of themes on Macthemes.net.

You will also need to install Winterboard. There are people on these forums who think Winterboard screws around performance. I have not noticed any problem, but YMMV

I'll bite on this one. I use Transparent Statusbar. It's free and it works if you're on an iPhone 4.

Now the lock screen just looks retarded with the status bar just being transparent... is there a way i can get the clock-blackground transparent... while still displaying the clock?
The app i tried "Transparent Clock" didn't work... i also need the "Enter Passcode and the calling bar background to go away too

You have to have wifi at home.

Assuming that you do.

Make sure your iPhone and Computer are both on the same network.

Find out the iPhone's internal ip, it will look like 192.168.x.x

You log in to your iPhone by plugging in the internal ip to winscp. You will need to have a username and password. By default these are root and alpine respectively. I would suggest that you change this. Google for how to do so.

Once you have logged in you will have access to the file system of the iPhone and thereby move the relevant files into the relevant folders (follow the instructions either on macthemes, or find some instructions on these forums/google).
