Thanks in advance if anyone has or remembers this book. Maybe there is more than one variant, but I've spent the morning Amazoning and Googling without success.
I'm looking for a book of photographs of processor layouts. The theme was "computer chip as art" basically. It was an entire book of close-up photos of microchip layouts like Intel processors and such.
You know the photos where sites color-code the cache, GPU, core, I/O layouts of Apple's A5 and so on? These book photos were about that scale, but not annotated - and they were meant to show off the technology in an artistic way. I remember thinking that the photos looked like aerial shots of well-organized cities, like so:
Anyway, I saw this book highlighted/reviewed once but I can't remember where I saw it. If you have any clues, let me know. Thanks again.
