Looking for Car Mount with good Reach!

I'm looking for dashboard mount for iPhone 4 but my concern is how far would the iPhone be when in a mount, do I have to lean forward from my seat just to press something from my iPhone? My options so far are these

As you all can see from their video, the neck looks pretty short.

The proclip shows where it would be specifically on my car which is a 2007 Honda CRV but I have to lean forward from my seat just to be able to touch that area where they suggest where the mount should be installed.

My best bet is iLevel, they even point out on the video demo they have on their site about my concern but the site looks fairly new and I don't know them, also on the video demo on their site it shows a pretty good reach but it doesn't show where they attached the clip to the car so I'm not sure either where I would put that thing on my car.

So basically, I'm looking for long gooseneck dashboard mount feature. If anybody has any suggestions, it will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
 
I'm looking for a vehicle mount too, and I had one that would work perfect, but I can't for the life of me find it now.

It was a flexible arm that attached to the front left bolt on the floor in front of the passenger seat. I thought I'd bookmarked it, but dang if I guess I didn't.

The Proclip looks great, but unfortunately, they don't make a kit for my specific car ('05 Toyota Echo). Sucks!

I'd like to use something like this, because it'll work with a case on the iPhone, but they don't have any mounts that look like they'll work in my car.

Oh, and +1 on RAM mounts! I've got two on my motorcycle (one for GPS, one for an aqua box that can hold anything I don't want getting wet) and they're great. We also use their laptop holders in our trucks here at work. They make a wonderful product. Unfortunately, they don't seem to make a flexible mount that can be used with a cased iPhone.

*edit* Ah ha! I looked up Arkon after the OP mentioned it and they've got the flexible arm mount I've been looking for! Thanks OP!
 
If ProClip has a holder you like, I think it's likely you could hack together an attractive and effective combination.
 
I recently ordered the goilevel 16" on the 18th and ended up getting it on the 20th, though we do live in the same state. The clamp is strong, so if you have a place where you can clamp it, it will work great. They are using a video from a youtube reviewer on their site, and my only guess is he clamped it to the back of his rear view mirror. The stand comes with an arkon universal holder, which works really well. The neck does bend into a lot of places and holds really well when the car is bumping up and down. To me it was worth it, but it was a little on the expensive side.
