I have a 500gb external USB drive with three partitions on it. One 40gb FAT32, one 20gb HFS+, and the rest is a TM backup. I don't need either of the small ones anymore and would like to join them with the 420gb partition. Obviously, disk utility just won't cut it because it doesn't join partitions and iPartition is $50 which is much more than I'd like to pay to do this (simple?) task. Don't get me wrong, I can erase the two small partitions to create free space. So essentially I need to join 60gb of free space to an HFS+ partition without reformatting. Free would be nice but $20 seems reasonable.
