Actually it is a little more complicated then that...
I just got a 40 gig hd for my girlfriends ibook, she had a 20 gig in it.
I was wondering if anyone could give me some suggestions as to how
they would accomplish the following:
hopefully i am on the right track.
So i want to copy everything on 20gig drive to this new 40gig which is currently in an hd enclosure - should i do this through "deja vu?" or something else?
Then once i have everything on that computer should i install 10.4 on to the hd enclosure from my powerbook that has a dvd reader, or should i install the hard drive in to the ibook and do a network install again from my powerbook?
I also need some directions for installin the hd in the powerbook - i was looking on line at the apple support page but i could not find an ibook hd upgrade pdf.
