Hi,

Wondering if someone could recommend or details software they use for creating user documentation and managing screenshots. I'm mainly being tasked with internal company documentation, so nothing too spectacular. Particularly instructional screenshots - what methods do people here use? I don't want to have to edit each shot and paste in arrows and "click here" points :)

Hey, I'm not sure if by editing you mean take a screenshot and then edit it in a different program...but for a screen capture program that incorporates editing would be http://skitch.com/ it's great! I hope this helped you :)

Snapz Pro X adds some nice functions on top of the built in screenshot abilties of OSX, so you might want to review it and see if it could help too.

Edit: Also the Preview application on your Mac allows for highlighting/annotation on screenshots and other pictures which is quite helpful for documentation.
