I'm looking for some e-mail provider, if that's the right term, that I can get an account with, and then synchronize with apple's mail application. I've tried before with spymac, and some others, but I never know what to type in when setting it up in mail. I don't know if it's pop or imap, and what the incoming and outgoing mail servers are. So, could someone tell me a good e-mail provider that I can use with mail.app, and what I type in when setting it up? Gmail might work, but I think you need to be invited to use that. If there aren't any that are free, a one time fee would be preferable to a subscription.

GMail will work, pm me with your current email address for an invite and they show and explain exactly how to set it up to use with Mail
