Hey everyone.

Just looking for a good monitor to put up in my office, so I don't have to use the macbook screen when I am home. But I would also like to be able to hook up an external cable box for the rare times I watch tv.

Seems like I am going to be paying a premium for a these extra inputs. The ones that i am actually considering are the Gateway FPD2275W 22-inch and the Dell 2007, but it only has s video. Dells refurb can get the price down to 230, while the gateway is lower 300.

Anyone know of any other monitors with component inputs in a 20-22 inch range for around 250?

Thanks

To revist this topic, the situation has not gotten much better. Note that there is only one 22" LCD that supports 1920x1200 resolution, and that is a high-end Lenovo. 1900x1200 is really a standard resolution of 24" displays, and 24" is that magic step where the price of a monitor jumps substantially. Kinda like how the jump from 17" to 19" used to be huge for standard def tube monitors when the price jump from 15" to 17" wasn't.

Asus makes one 22" model that has component inputs, it's over $500 though and has a webcam and speakers built in as well.

There is an older model Samsung (the 2280HD) that has component input as well as a built-in digital tuner. It is also pushing towards $500 in price.
