Seems the App Store is awash in task managers, from dirt cheap (lots) to mid-range (lots) to very expensive (OmniFocus). What I'm looking for is something that will allow me to manage not only tasks/actions of a project, but notes/files/resources as well. I currently have Things (both Mac and iPhone) but it just doesn't cut the mustard. I'm intrigued by Nozbe Todo as it gives you distinct "sections" of information with each project: Actions, Notes, Files, More (including Evernote integration). Seems exactly what I'm looking for. However I'm turned off by the $10 monthly fee. All these Web services (Dropbox, Evernote, BackBlaze, Skype, etc.) are starting to bleed me dry. $10/month seems steep for what I want to do.
So does anyone know of an alternative app that allows you the ability to manage notes and files with projects that aren't attached to or require specific actions?
