Hi All,

I am looking to replace an aging HP Inkjet multi-function printer and would really appreciate any guidance and words of wisdom.

My needs are as follows:
  • Color laser (driven by print quality and I'm tiring of replacing ink..)
  • Duplex scanning and printing.
  • WiFi connectivity.
  • MUST WORK WELL WITH A MAC! ;-)

Thank you in advance.

One thing to be aware of is that color output on a color laser is generally not "up to the same level of quality" as is color inkjet output. This could be important if you print from digital photos.

Are you willing to accept that?

I've had good experience with Brother, but my Brother laser is only B&W, not color.

Thank you for your feedback. Yes, I'm not looking to print photos or to use anything other than standard paper.

Do you still think that laser is inferior? My inkjet must be really old or I've seen some really good lasers. ;-)

The lasers have gotten better, in some instances very good.
But probably not as good (at photo printing) as many (most?) inkjet printers.
