Looking for help iMac flat and power Mac G4

I just can't find a step by step for wiping hard drive on power mac and loading OSX from an iMac.
I have just been given the power mac still has all of my friends stuff on and would like to start over with osX from my wife's iMac I herd that I can be done with firewire.

iMac flat panel G4 700MHz osX 10.4.11

Power Mac G4 450MHz has os9 and osX 10.2.8

Do you have the computers' restore disks?

You will either need the PowerMac's original system disks (and that will only install the OS version it shipped with), or a purchased copy of OS X to install. The iMac bundled OS disks will be machine-specific.
