Looking for Low Level DVD-R/W verify software

Hi Folks.

I'm looking for something that can perform a low level verify of DVD-R/DVD-RW written discs, to determine write quality?

I'm using a Mac Pro with the original Hitachi GH41N and a second Pioneer DVR-216D.

On my old PC, I used KProbe and CDSpeed to measure such things.

I may consider upgrading the Pioneer to something that will work with KProbe or CDSpeed, in bootcamp as a last resort.

What are the preferred replacement drives for a Mac Pro at the moment?
