I'm looking for a DVD collection database app like DVD Profiler for Windows. (http://www.invelos.com/)

I've checked out Delicious Library but not too impressed.

Any tips?

You're not alone on this. :) I just posted a thread on the Invelos website suggesting they do so soon. Though, I heard Invelos is a one-man show. Which might be why there isn't yet a Mac version. Hope he's (or his team) is working on it as we speak.

And if there is an alternative...please post people. :)

Just Goolged and found this alternative. Not sure how good it is. And it's not free. Will cost us $59.99 USD. :) But worth a look I guess:

Just tried "Movie Collector" from the link I provided. The interface is so clumsy compared to DVDPROFILER. No comparison. I immediately uninstalled it. Put it in the "trash".

Thanks for the recommendation for DVD Hunter. But yes it is basic. Oh well. Hopefully Invelos will put out a Mac version soon. :)

Try this ----->http://www.delicious-monster.com/ Saw this in an issue of Macworld maybe last year. Forgot about this software. And this new version (2.0) allows you to put the UPC code to the webcam of your MB or MBP. No need to type in the numbers or buy a barcode scanner. :) Too bad I packed away all my dvd's. Will have to wait to try this Delicious Monster on my MBP.
