Looking for MagSafe wireless vehicle charger?

I'm looking for a Magsafe vehicle charger that I can attach/screw into my phone mount that I have for my specific vehicle from ProClipUSA.

Something small and preferably in black color. I've seen the ones that you use the Apple MagSafe charger and snap in into the little round clip and I like it a lot but Apple's MagSafe charger is only in white color and I really dislike that for a vehicle.

I've looked at some of the air vent mounts and none of those could be adapted to my use that I've seen. It really does need to be attached by either screwing it down or some kind of very strong 3M adhesive tape "may" work. I'm just looking for recommendations.

Ideas?

Looks like it will work nicely as long as you like a vent type mount but they don’t include any other type of mounting options like a ball mount with a sticky mount.

Why not order the one from ProClip. I did yesterday for $45 I think. If you use WIRED Apple Car Play though, they advise against using this charger.

it should screw right into your existing ProClip stuff.

I don’t have Apple Carplay in my work van so that’s not an issue.

I like the Proclip mount but my problem is that you HAVE to use the OEM Apple MagSafe charger and that is fine but the dang thing is white! 👎🏻

I broke down and just ordered the ProClip one. I know it will work with my existing mount from them without modifications and I don’t think the white Apple MagSafe charger will be a problem.

I got his one from Anker and loving it so far. It comes with two mounts. I used the ball with the sticky 3M tape. Perfect fit.

I agree. I'm surprised nobody has made some kind of black sleeve so the white magsafe charger doesn't stick out so bad. I haven't pulled the trigger on a Proclip magsafe mount for that exact reason. Come on people

Mine is coming on Friday. It’s going in my daughters car with wired CarPlay, but she’s just going to use the magnet part. She likes plugging into her Kenwood radio so……

I get the AT&T version MAGSAFE chargers for $12, so I’ll try it. It’s a little larger than the Apple one, but as longs as it fits in the ProClip it will be ok.

Ok, I will have it tomorrow evening and I’ll try it and post an update.
I guess that I could find just the magnet on Amazon, but I may want to actually use it for charging so…

Also, remember that once you screw something into/thru that ProClip part you can not return it.

I received the Belkin mount today. It includes a ball/socket mounting system that fits with the Scoche and off brand mounts I’ve used previously.

I got this originally for my Miata. When I got my 21 Accord, I went with proclip. I used this with the proclip and it works fine.

The AT&T puck version WILL NOT fit the ProClip MagSafe mount. I'm returning it today.
Heck, I had a hard enough time getting the Apple charger in there, as it’s really tight.
I took the retention screw out and there are four little bands on the inside on the ProClip holder, located strategically around on the inside.

Also, my wife has my Defender XT case, so I can’t try it right now, but it looks like the supports may not be long enough to accommodate the case. The supports are adjustable, but I have them all the way out.
I guess that you really don’t need them though, although that iPhone 13 ProMax is pretty heavy.

UPDATE: The bottom support feet did not adjust out far enough for the XT Pro case. However, it is slotted, so I drilled the top of the holes out…no big deal.
Without this adjustment, the feet won’t let the built in Otterbox phone case magnet make full contact with the ProClip mount magnet. The phone is so heavy that it needs the best connection that it can get with this mount….trust me.

I think that I’m going to like this ProClip mount. Time to order one more
