Does this thing need to be small and portable, as a hub, or stay in one spot on your desk? You said for M4 Mac Mini so I'm guessing the latter.
How many extra USB-C ports do you want/need?
What additional ports, if any? Do you need an SD card reader, HDMI and/or DisplayPort to support one or more external monitors, etc...? You mentioned a speaker jack (does it have to be on the back?) would be an added bonus.
The Satechi is cute, sitting under the Mac Mini; how important is that? Is a more traditional style dock or hub, like satinsilverem2 linked for you, fine, or does this specifically need to be a stand for the Mini?
I'm guessing it does not need to act as an external SSD housing. A few docks can.
How many of what sort of devices do you anticipate hooking to it? If you want to put 1 or 2 external SSDs and/or a display or two on it, the bandwidth demand might add up...in which case a ThunderBolt option might be wise.
