I'm in search of a new monitor to use as an external monitor for my MacBook and also to hook up my xbox 360 to it as well. are there any that feature an hdmi input so i can enjoy the hd capabilities of my 360? anyone have any suggestions? price isn't really a problem until i see my options. thanks!

Xbox360 is still able to output HD without an HDMI cable, it's only full 1080p material that requires HDMI as far as I know. The upper-tier Dell monitors (20" and up) feature RGB input for HD sources, but Microsoft also sells a vga cable that lets you connect your 360 to just about any monitor (just as good or better res than RGB cables).

How much are you willing to spend?

BenQ 22" has HDMI input at around $300, You'll Get 1080i Via HDMI.

BenQ 24" has HDMI input at around $700. You'll get 1080P Via HDMI.

VGA output on the Xbox 360 results in washed out colors. So it's only an option if you have no other choice.

Since your using a Macbook, biggest resolution you can go is 1920 x 1200.
