Looking for new MFP with decent scanner

Greetings -

I am looking to replace my piece of junk HP J6450 with a new unit. I want something that has decent B&W scanning with an automatic feeder. I scan documents, receipts, etc. The HP ADF is terrible, pages come through choppy and unreadable.

I consider purchasing the Fujitsu 300M scanner and a small standalone printer. Otherwise Newegg has the Brother MFC-7840W for $209 through end of today.

Opinions? I also want to unit to work well with Snow Leopard and Ethernet.

I have this MFP and currently have it plugged into an Airport base station. Works very well, and I've had great experiences with Brother machines in the past. ADF works smoothly, scanning seems to be fine.

Brothers seem to work well with OSX 10.6

I just purchased a Brother 495cw all-in-one (a bit lower-end than the 7840 ) and it was a snap to setup under OSX 10.6.2 over a wireless 11g connection. So far so good.

Canon MX860. It replaced my HP OfficeJet about six months ago and I'm quite happy with it.
