Looking for old mac game, can't remember name.

I'm trying to remember this old Macintosh game I had back around circa 1996. I think it had something to do with combining different atoms to make atomic structures. I do remember clearly that the game had audio clips of Nine Inch Nails "Down In It" song play depending on how well you combined atom chains.

I'm sorry I don't have much else to go on other than that.

Sounds vaguely like Atomino. I remember playing it around '94 or so.
