The company I work for has several Pages docs we want to host online for all users and contractors to be able to edit when necessary. Google Docs has a good system, however, it would require re-creating nearly all docs (as they're image and text box-heavy) in Google Docs since the Pages -> .doc -> .gdoc conversion process distorts the document way too much.

Is there any other online solution to allow for just the Pages documents to be editable by multiple people, preferably without it requiring any sort of account to access (password protected is fine)?

TIA

During the WWDC Keynote a few weeks ago, they showed off some new iCloud features coming in Mountain Lion and iOS 6 (I think). They edited a document on the iPad, and it immediately updated on the Mac. Very cool - but almost certainly not what you're looking for. It needs every device to be set up with the same Apple ID; so it looks more like a personal thing without anything to help businesses.

You could try DropBox for Teams perhaps?

Dropbox is probably your best bet for this

We are currently using Dropbox but we would rather the solution be at light as possible, e.g. not require signing up for any service, etc. Just a web-hosted .pages service a la Google Docs that anyone with access to the web can read and write to.
