Looking for opinions on DISPLAY for 13 MBP

hey all,

I've got a 13 MBP (check sig) and I'm finding that doing color correction really blows on this small display.

Just looking for your thoughts on a good display. Money is an issue, so I'm hoping to stay under $300 - maybe that's not possible. But I'm just now starting this process, and I'd like the opinions of the community.

What kind of work are you going to be doing on it? Photography? Publishing? A little bit of everything?

My past two external monitors have been Samsungs, and they've been rock solid in terms of build quality, and colour has been decent. Don't think they've got anything meant for pro publishing though.
