I'm looking to install a second SATA drive in my salvaged Power Mac G5. The original HDD was missing along with its mounting screws when I got the machine, so I used the spare set to mount the primary drive.

I have found sets for $15-20 on eBay, but that seems like quite a bit for four screws with rubber caps.

Has anyone found workable generic replacements, or know of a cheap source for these parts?

I worked at an AASP, so I got mine right from Apple. Maybe see if someone who works at yours can order you a set.

I did think of that, but will Apple even provide parts for this old machine? IIRC the G5 is on the obsolete list now.
