Canon PIXMA Pro9000 plus the appropriate CD tray off eBay. Assuming you don't live somewhere that direct disc printing is enabled by default (Europe and Japan, I think), there's a relatively simple hack you can find instructions for quite easily that will cause the printer to think it's a Japanese version. This will make it recognize the disc tray (the hardware is identical--it's just a hidden software "switch") and happily print to inkjet CD/DVDs. The software can be downloaded free from Canon. My dad has one of these and it works perfectly in this way.
Some Epson models also may do this, but I'm not familiar with their 11x17 lineup, and I prefer Canon's hardware and ink tanks.
