anyone know a tried and tested software that will allow me to copy music from ipod to mac which will include playlists, playcounts, and album covers?

free or pay. prefer free of course.

mods please move if im on the the wrong place. thank you.

😛

if im not mistaken that will only get the music not including playlists, playcounts, ratings, etc.

ill look into that. $20 though.😱

any more suggestions?
I think you got the responses backwards. The link I posted doesn't cost $20 and it does copy everything, including playlists, ratings, play counts, etc.

The thing I used iRip for once was to just grab some music from my sister's iPod she wanted to use for a video we were making. That way I didn't have to switch to her itunes account. As I recall they had a free version with some limitations - but I was able to get the few songs I needed with the free version.

also. im trying to do this so i can move my music to my NAS. so moving it (music) from ipod to mac to NAS makes sense right?

also having the itunes folder in the NAS instead of my mac (my music folder) will work right?
