I purchased the 8 core 14" model and I am loving everything about it. I've been looking for in-depth comparisons to the 10 core model to see real world performance differences between the models, but I haven't seen anything yet. Has anyone seen review comparisons?

Looking for real world comparisons between 8 core and 10 core.

You cannot tell the different even if you buy Air except you do something serious like 8k video editing
What I worry about is the fact that next years phones will likely do 8k video recording (many android phones already do), so the power to "edit 8k" is in less than a year, going to go from some Hollywood level need to something basic users will do with video they just took on their phone. Honestly though, the base model M1 and even the A14 can do this relatively well for the occasional short video, so not a huge deal I guess.
Don't know if it's "real world" enough, but this compares the 14" base model (8-core CPU, 14-core GPU) to the 16" (10-core, 16-core), the same processor in the 14" Pro upgrades. Tests that involve producing intense fullscreen graphics may be somewhat lower than the 14" 10-core (as noted in the video), but the rest should be the same as for the 14".
Results are pretty much as expected, some the same for the 8-core and 10-core, some up to 25% better for the 10-core. That will be reflected in some of the real-world use cases each test represents.
