Hi, Looking for recommendation for iPhone 12 mini 7.5 watt Qi charger. Wife recently got an iPhone 12 Mini with non-Magsafe thin case and I have a 1 year old iPhone 11 with Apple silicon case. I've been using a Qi compatible Mophie 7.5 watt charging pad and have been happy with it. I tried charging the 12 Mini with the Mophie and it got very warm.

I looked on Amazon and many of the Qi chargers do not list iPhone 12 compatibility. I'm looking at this one,

Vebach Wireless Charger, Aluminum Frame, Qi Certified Wireless Charging Pad 7.5W for iPhone 12 Pro Max/12 Mini/12 Pro/12/SE 2020/11/11 Pro/11 Pro Max/Xs/XR/X/8

2 reviews on iPhone 12 minis didn't mention any issues.

Not interested in the Magsafe route as credit cards are near the phone at times. Charging speed is not an issue.

Thanks in advance

I have this unit from RavPower, which despite what it claims only outputs 7.5w peak to the phone as confirmed by my USB-C tester. It is a great little puck similar to the apple OEM version in size and functionality. It also comes with a nice 20w wall plug unlike the apple OEM version.

My review of the unit is below:

OR you if you want a desktop version with 7.5w output try the Choetech unit I also got. The Choetech unit has a little magnetic charger for airpods built in as well and comes with a 30w wall charger. You can kindof see this unit in the background of my video above at around 3:02.

Both units work perfectly with my 12 Pro Max and even display the little "magsafe" animation when you attach the phone. Both of them have the magnets built in.

Someone posted a few weeks ago about being able to charge an iPhone 12 Mini on the Anker 7.5W vertical PowerWave charger by sitting the phone on its side in the charger. I have the charger but not the Mini yet, so cannot personally verify this.
