My daughter has been using an old Canon P&S camera that I bought 5-6 years ago, and she has now decided that she wants to save up for a Canon dSLR. We have tried to teach her the value of money, and at the age of 12, she is a lot more mature than I was at that age. She got a MacBook for Christmas las year, so what we're looking for is some kind of "savings meter" to let her see the progress she's making while saving up the cash needed for the camera. It doesn't need to be the most complicated stuff, just some kind of visualization of the $'s as they build up in her account.
A widget or app, it doesn't matter. I don't mind commercial software (we'll buy it for her), but "free" would be appreciated
