Apps Looking for simple counter not requiring iPhone

I have a app Tally Counter that does everything I need but it only works if my iPhone is near. Surprising that such a simple app would require the iPhone. Can anyone suggest another counter app that can run without needing the iPhone nearby?

Thanks. Really want a simple counter, not a calculator, so I can just hit a button and have the count increment.
